Convert Midi Input to Keystroke

Hi there, bloody beginner here. I want to convert midi inputs from the Drumpads of my Nektar LX61+ to Keystrokes on my pc (1,2,3,4,5 etc.) I tried to solve this via Midi2Key but it registers the NoteOff from the Drumpads as NoteON(mute) and they trigger the keystroke twice. Much appreciate your support. Thanks a lot!

Hi It sounds like you need to create a Midi data Map Let me ask you what exactly you are trying to do, but first I need some information. Connect up the Nektar to your PC and go to the MidiOx menu Midi Devices and select the Nekter's Midi Input and Output ports. The Output Monitor is always visible, but make sure you have the Input Monitor visible (menu View select the Input Monitor...) You should also make the Midi Port Routing window visible as well. Play the pads and you should see a stream of data coming in from the Nektar. Write down the Midi Information and the Pad you played. Let me know what it is. Now that we have that info what Midi messages do you want the Pads to be converted to? Post again. All the best Royce
