Hello,

How can I setup Logic with the MicroQ editor? I have tried several things, but they don't work.

I'm using a soundblaster Live.

Thanks for your help.

We don't have either Logic or the MicroQ editor, so we're pretty much at a loss to help out.  If you explain more of what you are trying to accomplish maybe someone else could jump in.

Sorry for the late reply.

I managed to get it working (I think). I guess it's the same for most other setup's with Logic and editors.

I want to use MIDI Yoke and MIDI-OX with Logic and the Microq editor so that I can play my MicroQ sounds in Logic and edit them at them at the same time with the MicroQ editor

I opened sysedit and editted the win.ini section. (Start, run, and type sysedit.exe.)

I disabled my Soundblaster Live MIDI output ports by putting zero's behind the name of them.

I also put zero's behind all MIDI Yoke in's and out's, except for one out, where I put a 1.

In the arrange window in Logic I selected the MIDI Yoke driver and then followed the second option from this page: http://www.midiox.com/mfaq.htm#howLogic.

I connected the port just under the SUM to the Input Notes object.

In the MicroQ editor I just selected the same MIDI Yoke driver I used in Logic as the input.

In MIDI-OX I selected the same driver as the MIDI input (Options, MIDI Devices), and selected my Soundblaster ouput port under MIDI outputs.

Here's another topic about Logic: http://www.midiox.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=myokent;action=display; num=1001575186

Thanks.

Thanks for the followup.  We do have some Logic folks that drop by here, so if you still have issues feel free to ask.
