Can I perform a 'Undo' with Desktop Restore?

Occasionally, my desktop groups all my icons in such a way that I did not intend. It has happened that I clicked on Save Desktop instead of Restore Desktop. Then I'm in big trouble. Is there a way to undo a mistake such as that? Thank you.........

Not currently, but it might be possible to add that feature in the future. It can get quite complicated because 'Undo' implies that there should also be a 'Redo'. Both would require saving and backing up the current layout automatically before a new save and then swapping. What I do to avoid the issue is to have 'Restore' in the main menu and 'Save' in the cascaded menu. Also making sure that 'Save' asks for confirmation is additional safety.
