Mapping Expression to sidewinder foot controls

Sorry to bother you again so soon, but i had an other idea.

after successfully maping the pitchwheel to Mod wheel, thank you for the help on that, i found myself lost without one of my hands.

goal; i want to free up both hands for playing keys, while using a MS sidewinder foot controller (which connects to SBlive game port) as the expression and mod or breath controllers.

more specifics; i have a MS Sidewinder steering wheel w/foot pedals (game controller), it has 2 foot pedals, these connect to the gameport on SB soundcard, same place my old midi cables used to go.
Please let me know if this is possable to do..?
thanks again ahead of time...

well i tried your link for (fergo joystickmidi);
the program recieves joy data fine,

but doesnt allow the user to (add/edit) any midi parameters for the output section.
the (add/edit) buttons are ghoasted...? Undecided

keeping to one thread, i use windows XP, progs ive tried; midijoys, mjoy-v056, vmidijoys,...
none of these wont even recognize any joystick...

there were a few more progs i tried, but one had a virus, so i deleted several i had and cant remember the other names..

thanks for responding.

What do you want to "add / edit" ?
Perhaps MidiOx could help there?

the prog you suggested _fergo), reads joystick data, but doesnt allow you to assign any of that joy data to the (midi out) section of the fergo prog, for midi-ox or any midi app to recognize...?

Isn't there an Add button below the Current Midi Outputs list box?

I don't have a joystick port on my machine so it is greyed out for me.

i do have gameport on old school soundblaster card, as well as a usb gamepad, they both work in the control panel properties, and both show data in (fergo), and yet the (add/edit) buttons are still greyed out on mine as well...?

about to give up, it would of been cool to have duel assignable foot controls for the keyboard....

Got It..! it works perfect as a modulator...

For Future References;
Fergo JoyStickMIDI, http://www.fergonez.net/index.php?lang=en&page=apps

Uses any JoyStick as an Assignable Midi Controller, works on all proportional axis(s) or button(s), out to any Midi Parameter(s), any port.

Instructions:
to un-(grey) the add/edit buttons, you have to (load/create any preset) first.

Dope.!

Wishlist;
The MIDI-OX Guys should incorporate this sort of feature into their MIDI-OX product..?

Thanks for the help.
